visited with German alchemist Mr. Michael Ullrich and genius Mr. Sharma who brought us along ..enjoyed the salty tea with abbot who was full of knowledge and holy Aurra..multilingual and insightful...helped me grounding this visit..the most beautiful interior I ever viewed with majestically beautiful Buddha Statue and other dieties..marvellous..thanks to the Lord Buddha his highness..

This is one of the beautiful monastery situated over the hills. The area is very calm and quite. The walkways are covered with trees and flower plants. The area is clean and sees less touristy crowd.
One need to park car near gate and then walk towards Monastery. There are settlements of monks near walkway where you can see their day to day life.
Dont trust google maps as it shows the steepest and narrow road from main road. The actual road goes ahead from Bhuntar Airport else one can take auto for Rs.100 (to and Fro) and park the car near main road

This is very big and very beautiful place. In there background most attractive . Mountain are there and inside many different types of crafts and design which we know for our knowledge

It’s a beautiful monastery very close from the national highway on the way to manali! It’s peaceful with beautiful interiors and great views of the Kullu city! Not to be missed

This place is one of the most peaceful and tranquil places i have ever visited in my life. Moreover a small cafe outside the temple is such a beautiful place to sit and enjoy tibetan dishes.everything was tasty

This is a beautiful place with pin drop silence. You will start feeling inner peace as soon as you reach there. And the view from the monastery is amazing. You get a panoramic view of the valley. I think it’s a must go place if you are near kullu. And don’t miss their veg thupka from the monastery cafe.

Dechen Choekhor Mahavihara Monastery is a one of the beautiful, peaceful place in Kullu to visit. The architecture is superb.

Once you step into this monastery you get surrounded divine vibes and feel peace for a long time. Bit on outskirts from kullu town so visiting here can be easily half day activity. You can see monks doing prayers and daily rituals here. With beautiful statue of lord buddha inside. Prayer wheels, ambience everything just beautiful and divine. Best visited in afternoon to late evening.
