Wonderful open air park. The people are always friendly and respectful. Just a nice spot to go and chill.. Pack a picnic or walk to one of the neighboring restaurants..

Great spot! Wide open grassed space, covered pavilions with ceiling fans. A nice splash pad. Great playground equipment for kids of all ages. There is some shade on the on the play equipment. It is very hot there in mid July! We enjoyed being there for about 90 minutes. An ice cream truck came😊

Large playgrounds area for kids, large walking path, dog park, huge playing field for kits and frisbee and football, huge display of Christmas lights during thanksgiving and Christmas season. Before COVID, they would have an outdoor ice skating rink... After the skating rink was put away, they put a HIGE sand box in its place the following season. Busy time are ok the weekends, and weekdays after 4. Weekday and weekend morning before 11 are not as packed. Very safe for families with small children. Across the street from Columbia County Sheriff, Judicial Court, police department. Very safe for single parents, stay at home moms (and dads), with groups, with small toddlers, kids, children.

This is a good place for a concert, family event gathering or just to sit in the sunshine and watch your kids run around in the grass. It is located in a fairly busy area of Evans, nevertheless it is easy to find and there are many places for free parking around the area on those busy event nights at the nearby Lady Antebellum Pavilion. There is good parking on those not so busy days/nights. Nice public use area and close to other businesses, restaurants, law enforcement, other government offices and public library.

Great year-round events such as farm markets, charity events, ice rink, concerts and fireworks shows. This park has it all!!!

The one place to go if you don't have anything to do but want a wide open space to do it. Walking around the perimeter, laying in the grass, playing with your dogs in the dog park, attending a special event. This is a great place to kill time.

This park offers something for all ages! It’s huge also. At one end there’s a playground for all different ages of children located in different little gatherings. A large gazebo. A splash area for whoever is game! Public restrooms. Bicycles for rent. Of course The Lady A Pavilion which is right in the middle of it all. There’s even a dog park. Lots of walking space. Lots of grass space. During different times of the year, they offer all sorts of entertainment. A circus is coming soon. Through October the farmers market continues. It is something all the time. Great family place, great couples place & great alone place!

I love the fact that Columbia county uses their SPLOSH money wisely. The Town center has an area for children to play and a covered area for picnics or just sitting there chatting. They have a nice walking area around the parameter of the park that they keep clean. A wonderful area to just play...be it soccer, spreading out a blanket for a concert, or just lounging around to read. The dog park is nice but not very big, but they do provide a water fountain and a covered area for pet owners to sit and give water to their pets in the shade. Overall, good place to visit and socialize.

For the kiss fm Family reunion can I also bring a very small table that folds in a bag that goes with my folding chairs? Also will alcohol be sold at this event? Thanks.

The event page doesn't have tables included in allowed or prohibited items. If it is in a bag like a chair, I would take it. Alcohol is served during most concert type events. You will have to buy tickets for drinks and have an over 21 wrist band. Types and brands vary. Vip seating tends to have a better selection. Drinks are quite pricy, as well. I would also take a good raincoat or poncho if there is the slightest chance of rain. There is no covered area. I hope this helps! Enjoy!
