You practically find it in front of you when you leave Terminal 3 of the Manila airport. It is a beautiful sanctuary dedicated to Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, despite being of modern construction.

I was amazed how big this church was. It was my first being there. I didn't know there was a church nearby when I visited Philippines back in 2014. The church is across Marriot, just a walking distance.

The boring plain Spanish looking exterior is hiding a stunning gilded backdrop inside. The Altar and the high dome yielded one remarkable looking backdrop. Gilded gold glistening high altar and hug frames in the background makes this church look absolutely gorgeous.

It is an oddity to be seeing a religious place of worship when there was a casino , convention centre, and a plethora of hotels and restaurants nearby. Being on alert level 2 , several seating blocks are put together to limit capacity. But children are allowed. No air conditioning still . Better check time schedules it is hard to decipher the website. Besides, there is a columbarium beneath.

It was wonderful visiting this church while staying at the nearby Belmont Hotel. There is a daily mass at noon. The pastor is very friendly. The church is very modernistic in design. When we were therethe air conditioning did not appear tobe function ing.

There isn’t a lot to do in this area unless you like designer shops or casinos, so it’s worth a visit to sit and have a quiet moment.

This church is right across NAIA Terminal 3 and across the street from the AirBnb unit where I stayed for a couple of nights. It was very convenient to attend the daily mass at noon. The mass was in English, with the priest saying just a couple of phrases in Tagalog during his homily. It was a large church and I imagine it gets crowded during Sunday mass. There weren't very many people during the weekday noon mass I attended, but there were quite a few visitors who popped in to see the shrine. Very nice church, not air-conditioned but comfortable.

Me and my husband and son, went to the columbarium to visit his father's and aunt's cinerary urns. After our visit, I asked him if we can see the church which is situated above the columbarium. I was so amazed because the shrine was so huge and stunning. I know that I should pray at that moment, but I can't help myself but to take pictures around the church, but I prayed after of course. I will surely go back and visit the Shrine with my family again. :)

Whenever we are in the Metro Manila, we go to the St Therese Shrine for early morning sunday mass. On this particular visit, I went with my sis- in law to the Columbarium below the church. The columbarium is a repository of cremated ashes of love ones. My bro-inlaw was an Army Major when he passed away, and the family chose to inter him here in the Columbarium so it is easy for them to visit.
Entrance is by biometrics (family only) so when visiting a family member should be with you. There are small chapels inside each area. It's clean and orderly and respectfully silent. Nice.

The Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus and Columbarium, is so close to NAIA Terminal 3 that you could almost walk there. The area has an ecclesiastical museum with beautiful artwork of St. Therese. The shrine also has its own Adoration Chapel and a flower shop.
Mass there is something to see. The entire area is softly lighted and you can hear mass no matter where you are sitting. It is very close to the Marriott, and I understand it is used a lot for weddings with the reception at the Marriott. We simply went to mass and looked at the lovely art work. It was wonderful.
