After arriving at a hotel close to Fukushima Station, where the monument is staying, we went for a walk around Fukushima Station. The station building of JR Fukushima Station, where the Tohoku Shinkansen also stops, was SPAR Fukushima.
As in the station building, there were many shops selling Fukushima souvenirs on the first floor, and I went around each shop looking for Fukushima souvenirs. After searching for souvenirs, we took a break at the cafe on the second floor. With plenty of restaurants, it is a Benrin Station Building Shopping spot.

This is a commercial facility that you can reach by walking through the passageway from the West Exit to the East Exit after getting off the Shinkansen.
It has many shops, including cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and souvenir shops, and was quite busy.

I had some time, so I went to SPAL in Fukushima. On the first floor, there are shops selling prepared foods and Fukushima souvenirs. There is a lot to enjoy looking around. It is quite large, with many shops inside. There is also a fish shop. It is adjacent to the station, so it is a convenient and nice place.

JR Fukushima Station's station building shopping street. First of all, there are Fukushima souvenir shops lined up. There are Kashiwaya's thin-skinned manju and Mamadoll. There is also local sake. There is also a supermarket.

JR福島駅と同一の駅舎に有ります。お土産屋やコーヒー屋なども有るので。観光客にも便利です。私自身は１Fのパン屋で新幹線内で食べられるパンのセットを購入です。小さいパン4個ほどが一つの箱に入っていて、持ち運びに便利で食べ易いものです。

福島駅直結、同じ建物内にあるお土産物屋さん中心の商業施設です。駅直結ですから、利便性は言うまでもありません。お土産物屋さんという性質上、食べ物関連が多いのも当然でしょう。暑い寒いに関係なく買い物できるのが、有り難いことです。
