What a wonderful experience. Naile and her colleagues were so welcoming. After she demonstrated her Ebru skills, my 6 and 8 year old had a go - under supervision! They are delighted with their pictures and Naile’s shop is a great find! Definitely recommended and the children were keen to have another go as soon as we left! Thank you!

Naile is an art patron. What a lovely lady she was.

We visited the studio on my son’s 6th birthday - we were visiting Cappadocia and I was looking for a unique and hands on experience for his birthday afternoon. After reading other reviews here, we decided to try a class with Naile. She was incredibly patient with our 3 children and they each had the chance to make a beautiful piece of art to take home. Over a month later, my son is still talking about how much he enjoyed his class with Naile and can remember many facts he learned about the Turkish art form of Ebru. If you’re in Uchisar with children, this is a very worthwhile visit - you will be glad you did it.

Naile introduced us to the art of marbling paper. In Turkish it's called Ebru. Naile is generous and very skilled. The demonstration was free. There's a small shop where you can buy marbled items, silk scarves, cards, mugs, sheets of marbled paper. Well worth a visit.

Naile is a passionate artist.. I just walked in her gallery and she shared her love for this ancient art.. she also helped me to make my first Ebru .. one of the memory I will keep in my heart.. such a privilege.. thank you Naile for your patience and your kindness.. thanks to the team too..

If you are looking to do and activity that is different, interactive, creative and beautiful then I would highly recommend this wonderful gem in Uchisar Cappadocia. Naile Art Gallery is run by Naile who is an artist, she creates art and painting using a substance that is clear and transfers them on to varied types of materials e.g. paper, fabrics, cups, bags and tea sets.
Naile welcomes you into her Alladins cave full of beautiful colours and she encourages you to interact with art, demonstrating, teaching, making and transferring your own design and colours on to paper or material, you choose. I've watched Naile allow children and adults to create their designs and their faces are priceless, and the best part is when you are able to take your art home with you! Her passion for the art that she creates and helps you to create shows through, she is an amazing, patient and very friendly.
The best part is that it is value for money. Your children will love it and as i travelled solo, I was welcomed, looked after and was given an opportunity to do something different other then sightseeing. Thank you Naile you're a beautiful lady x

Amazing experience, seeing her doing her art was so impressive !
But the best part is to do it, learn and take a little bit of her knowledge.
This is a must to do in Uchisar, Naile will welcome you and give you her knowledge to let you go with a little piece of art that you will have make.

We were admiring the artwork from outside when Naile invited us in for a free demonstration - I'm so glad we said yes.
I think it may have just been an excuse for her to make some more art, clearly it's what she loves. It was like being invited into someone's home and having them cook a meal for you - in fact, Naile shared some fruit with us as well.
We did not buy the workshop experience (€40), but nevertheless she was more than happy to show us every piece of work in the shop - every example is an original made by her - and explain how each one was done.
Naile is very knowledgeable and passionate about ebru, and will teach you everything about it if you let her - the dyes are made from cactus extract and such things... Make sure you look in the books to see gorgeous photos of the marbling technique being used in ancient bookbinding - amazing.
What makes the experience truly great, is that it's all made out of love. Naile is the antithesis of a pushy salesperson. The only time she left us alone was when we arrived at the corner where there are things to buy - so we'd feel no pressure. Gladly I was able to find exactly what I wanted: a ceramic coaster with a tulip design (€15).
Watching the process of ebru is a mesmerising experience. Definitely go in for the demonstration. All products are reasonably priced, and she will give you so much for free that your time here is guaranteed to be great value.
