I've visited several Kinokuniya branches around the world, as well as family-owned bookstores and corporate chains. Whenever I arrive in a new location, the first place I visit is the local bookstore. However, this particular store truly stands out. The primary reason is their exceptional customer service—hats off to them! Special thanks to Edith, Lahiru, Hasitha, Osama, and Elbridge, who consistently go above and beyond to assist me. They always ensure I receive the best service, and they do so with remarkable speed. Thank you for making every visit to this bookstore so productive!

The most over priced by more than double! Better to order online. The customer service was very rough and rude. Not what I expected based on reviews. Avoid it.

No words can suffice to describe the incredibly beautiful experience of reading books. The most amazing thing about them is undoubtedly the fact that they take you to a completely different world while physically you stay where you are. Every story you read takes you through a different myriad of emotions. While one book makes you laugh, the other makes you cry. While one book makes you look at the world through a positive lens, the other makes you negative. Every book has so many things to offer and you cannot help but marvel at the simplicity and the complexity of human emotions. It’s just in Kinokuniya that u get all these beauty. Whatever u need is in there what they don’t have they order for you and have it delivered.

I can spend hours there, what a wonderful collection of books. Craft books just were amazing. Definitely my favourite at Dubai Mall, can't wait to visit again.

I can stay here forever without getting bored!! But seriously they are nice enough to let you stay and read books as they have corners where you can stay and hang around. They have hold variety of events that are so interesting. Monthly they have a discount or clearance sale which includes a lot of great books!
Staff are very nice. Place’s architectural structure is nice!! They not only sell books but different things too. They also offer a membership card which you can have a 10% discount every time you buy & a points system. cashless payments in the counter too!
Totally enjoyed the Free Comic Book Day with my friends + they gave out free mystery boxes on that day on a minimum spend amount
I buy my comics here and books. If a book isn’t available just ask/inquire and they will update you in Whatsapp when it’s available so you can go get it.

Always a trip into Wonderland!!!
Such a wonder filled trip every time I visit the bookstore. There is always something new to discover for the next visit. To top it all, the staff are so helpful, patient, accommodating and professional when dealing with clients. I have witnessed always smiles from a thought, wish or desire of a book realised. If ever a tear or a sad face, I bet it is because it is they left behind a dear purchase.
After visiting one other book place on the ground floor... this reminded me once again, why you are a top favourite.

All in one place. Reasonable price. Helpful staff. Nicely and attractively arrange. High end books and stationaries are also available. You will feel that you are in the good old days.

By far, the best book store in the UAE! It is always a pleasure to spend an afternoon in this splendid store, browsing the books collection. Great customer service too!
It is sad though that they had to move to a smaller place in resent years and now there aren’t many benches to comfortably sit if you want to spend more time selecting your books. Never mind, it is still a great shop
