大嶼山天壇大佛係世界上第二大嘅戶外青銅座佛，更係香港嘅著名旅遊景點之一
天壇大佛係一座坐落木魚峰嘅釋迦牟尼佛像，想近距離賞佛，就要先行268級嘅石階（寓意香港「一路發」）然後到最高處仰望大佛。

因為有promotion 去昂坪360，所以一定會去天壇大佛參觀，由遠望至近，一步一步的從地下步行上大佛腳的感覺很特別，覺得自己很渺小！

Is travelling in a wheelchair with an elderly still ok to visit Big Buddha? Cable car?

Hi, does anyone know if there is another peak that can view the whole side of the buddha from another perspective? I have seen some photos online that aren't frontal or too far off taken from cable car.

How often is the bus upto big buddha please as cable car is currently closed and I still want to see big buddhe

It's a daily bus and currently operating every 30minutes or so. You can get in to bus number 23 from tung chung bus terminal. Suggest downloading New Lanntau Bus app to your phone which will provide you with the bus schedule and timetables.

If the demonstrators are no longer in the airport then I would say yes. It is easy using the transit system to go to the Big Buddha.

Forget about the bus I don’t like heights either but the cable car views are fantastic , take the risk just don’t look down you won’t regret it the ride and views itself are worth the trip it’s a experience you will not regret.

If I take Crystal cabin. Will it take to top or still we need to climb the stairs.

The crystal cabin is just an optional version of the gondola from Tung Chung, (next to HKG airport), to Ngong Ping. It has a glass floor that lets you look straight down, and I suggest you buy the round trip option that lets you ride that up, and a regular cabin back down.
Ngong Ping is a fun, fake, tourist trap... but really worthwhile. It is right at the upper gondola station, so you actually have to walk through it to get to the walk of 12 generals that leads to the stairway of the titan Tian Tan. Yes, there are a lot of stairs, but that’s sort of the point, you are ascending to the Buddha, and that takes effort. If you’re in good health, just take your time and it will be worth it. There is a paved supply route, but I would not recommend it.
