So many reviews on here reviewing the hotel rather than the actual lighthouse! Lighthouse is just that - a good landmark to check out but not much else there to see.

AS my wife cannot handle stairs the staff went out of their way on a previous visit to accommodate us on a ground floor unit on this visit. From the front desk to the Lady who serviced the room they were all helpful and went out of their way to see we were comfortable and our needs met. The room was clean and comfortable with nice views.
On our previous visit e were disappointed in the Restaurant but pleased to say it has greatly improved and we had meals there on two nights..
Will stay there again and reamend to friends

The motel was excellent and staff friendly and attentive.
The only disappointment was the restaraunt, staff were great but food very average garlic bread was burnt steak was rare instead of medium and a lage part of one piece was fat and gristle would not eat there again

I do love a good lighthouse. This one isn't open for public viewing but easy to get to. Lots of parking nearby and straight down to the beach

In room Spa. Amazing weather food was great . On a budget was perfect for the price.

If you are visiting Bunbury it is one of the MUST places to visit! Get your warm clothing if it is windy day

The Bunbury Lighthouse is not open and you can only view it from the outside. The lighthouse can be seen from the Marlston Hill Lookout Tower or if you want to get up close, just park at Wyulug-Rocky Point.
Alternatively, if you are staying on Ocean Drive, better still take a walk. Our family took the opportunity to go for a 5K run from the Ocean Drive Motel where we were staying to the lighthouse and back. A bonus is that you will get to also enjoy the varying views along the coast of Ocean Drive.

The Bunbury Lighthouse is worth the hike from the adjacent parking lot.
While you can't actually climb into the lighthouse we did get a view from the surrounding deck.

Surrounded by a fence and dense housing the lighthouse stands tall amongst city landscape. Hard to get to but is still magnificent in its own right
