Unfortunately a couple of the galleries were closed when we visited. Some of the art work was exceptional, especially some of the wooden pieces. In my opinion it was better than the Perth art gallery, which was very disappointing.

As an artist, my wife had the BRAG on her must-visit list. We loved the architecture of the BRAG building as much as the art -on display; i.e. both are excellent! Highly recommend a visit in Bunbury!

The displays are diverse and have many pieces from its Japanese sister city. The staff are helpful and welcoming. They exhibit a sense of humour as on the opposite side of the 'Free Entry' sign are the words, 'Free Exit.' That was my chuckle of the day. They have a piano to use if you are so inclined. Indeed a pleasant visit.

We called through bunbury and Would drawn to the Bunbury regional art gallery - BRAG. Situated in an old sisters of Mercy convent there are multiple exhibitions with lots of art for sale. We were fortunate to experience the biennale which has a fascinating range of local artists exploring gender - he/she/they is the title

We decided to visit the Art Gallery this morning to view the displays. Certainly different and, with the exception of the Drew Pettifer display, "A Sorrowful Act: The Wreck of the Zeewijk", the remainder did not generate much interest for me.

I came here with some family to check out the 2019 Blooming Art Exhibition, which involved creative floristry combined with art. Floral displays were created based on selected artworks from the Bunbury City Art Collection, and the results were spectacular. I briefly checked out some of the other works on display, but plan to return some time to have a closer look at the entire art gallery and see everything it has to offer.
Entrance is free, and they have different exhibitions throughout the year. The building is a historic and picturesque one (it was originally a convent), and you can't miss the bright pink colours. It's ideal for a museum and adds real character. Lots of free street parking is available in the area, which is close to the down town center of Bunbury.

The entry to this gallery is free. There is a big car park across the road or street parking is available. There are many different areas and the displays do change frequently.
I went during the week and it's nice and quiet. The gallery is very clean. If you have spare time have a look, it won't take too long to wander through.

Excellent Biennale show with very inspiring contemporary works of art. The exhibition provides an opportunity for the City of Bunbury to acquire new works for their Collection. A very difficult task, give the quality and diversity of the exhibition! Don't miss it, if you are in the area, as I think it closes soon!

I regularly attend the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery and there is always something interesting and different to see. They often show local artists as well as very different types of art. Even better, sometimes the art is for sale and I have bought some very unique pieces as presents from there. Staff are wonderful too.

Housed in a lovely old convent not far from the main street of Bunbury, this is a gallery with constantly changing exhibitions that always interest us. Well done to the staff!
