“鐵路博物館”
即使你不是一個鐵路愛好者，這個博物館也是必須去的!在這裏，你可以輕鬆的了解到荷蘭便捷的交通系統。乘坐火車就可以直達這裏(路線見圖1)，這對於鐵路愛好者來說將是特別有趣經歷。因為這個博物館像一個“村莊”，展現了鐵路的起源。當時，很多的東西都是從英國引進的，許多來自曼徹斯特的發動機被出口到荷蘭。這裏還有很多其他可以去的地方，比如咖啡館。一定不要錯過這裏!!一家很棒的博物館!

A great museum with something for everyone - and only 30 minutes away from Amsterdam.

This is the best museum of its kind I've ever visited. Whether you're a railway nerd, a casual visitor, or a parent looking for something to do with the kids on the rainy day, this museum has something for everyone - there's even a ghost train!

At first, it just looks as if the museum is a huge shed with some trains on the inside and outside, but the more the explore, the more you discover. Walk through one door and you suddenly find yourself in a magical recreation of early Victorian England, with full sized buildings. Go through another and there's a really fun ghost train ride. But in addition to the child-friendly fun stuff, there are also plenty of very informative exhibits focusing on the social history and the engineering triumphs of Dutch railways. We learn how the railways were used by the Nazis in WW2. We also get to see the evolution of the locomotives over the decades and climb about the special train reserved for the Dutch royals.

If you want to get away for the tourist-clogged streets of Amsterdam and perhaps you have children who aren't that fascinated by the Rijksmuseum, this only a short train ride away. Once you get to Utrecht Station, take a tram or bus and it's a 10-minute walk.

Super leuk gehad!

Het was echt super leuk en leerzaam!
Er is veel informatie en veel te zien.
Vooral ook de toevoeging van de interactieve onderdelen zoals bijvoorbeeld de darkride Stalen Monsters en simulator De vuurproef.

Ik miste wel de mogelijkheid om ook een ritje te maken in een stoomtrein.

De moeite waard om te bezoeken👍🏻

Samen met onze dochter en kleinkinderen hier geweest. Onze kleinzoon van bijna 4 kan maar geen genoeg krijgen van de treinritjes.
Leuk om rond te kijken, genieten van de oude treinen en de educatieve dingen die er te doen zijn.
Het was jammer dat het regende, het buiten terrein hebben we laten liggen, een reden om nog een keer terug te gaan!
Een geweldig mooie middag hebben wij er gehad!

Leuk gezinsuitstapje ook bij slecht weer

Leuk spoorweg museum leuk voor kinderen maar ook voor volwassenen. Leuk dag je uit.
Kunt er ook met de trein heen.

Wat je verwacht

Dit museum is leuk voor ouders met kinderen en oude mannen die van treinen houden. Is precies wat je er van kan verwachten. Er staan verschillende treinen uit verschillende periodes naast elkaar opgesteld. Veel ruimtes met oud stations materiaal zoals seinen en borden. Met geurtjes wordt geprobeerd en oliegeur te verdrijven. Daarnaast ruimtes ingericht als een open lucht museum. Niet voor een romantisch cultureel uitje. Een parkeerkaartje kost 12 euro maar op zondag is buiten de poort gratis parkeren.

Geweldig en verrassend!

Geweldig en verrassend! Wat een leuk uitje. Mooie treinen, veel info. Hele leuke aanvullende attracties. De vrijwilligers/ medewerkers zijn heel enthousiast. Met twee jongens van 5 en 6 een absolute aanrader! Maar ook wij waren verrast en onder de indruk. Als er een aandachtspunt is, is het het horeca plein. Daar lijken de medewerkers overlopen te worden. Om 13.00 uur waren alle warmhoudplaatjes leeg met veel wachtende mensen. Nou ja, het mocht de pret niet drukken. Hoogtepunt, hele leuke uitleg in het seinhuisje!

Mooi, interessant en vermakelijk

Dit museum is bijzonder fraai en verrassend opgezet.
Het is een complete ervaring voor alle leeftijden.
Was er voor de tweede keer en geen seconde verveeld.
Als je ook maar iets met treinen hebt en de historie ervan, dan is dit een absolute aanrader.

A great day out for everyone

We had a wonderful day out visiting this museum. It’s great for all ages and there is so much to see and do.
They have some super interactive experiences which the children will like especially the rides.
It’s such fun and I particularly liked the simulator to drive the train into Utrect station.
Everyone seemed to be having a great time and it’s all spaced out so doesn’t feel crowded.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming too.

Great train museum!!

This is perhaps the most interactive train museum I have ever visited… and it’s huge! It just keeps going… and going.

Would be better for kids but I was pleasantly surprised how both interactive and informative the museum was. Not 100% English friendly, but we made due.

Excellent train museum - an unexpected pleasure

The train station itself is fabulous although you have to be female to appreciate the vintage and beautifully tiled ladies room. The waiting rooms for the various classes (including royalty) were also fabulous.

It was a good mixture of exhibits and entertainment- although it helped that it was quite quiet so there was very little queuing involved.

We spent a good 3 hours there.
