A very big thank you to Andrea who was able to catch my bottle from the sea! For two hours, Andrea told us with passion and in remarkable French the history of this Roman theater. He knows how to stage his subject and contextualize it. Thus, he took up the origin of the city of Milan, its hours of glory and desolation; the history of this theater, the craze of the Romans then its gradual abandonment. It was found during work and this part has been valued and organized to receive the public since 2018. It is also a tribute to Alda Levi to whom this theater owes a lot. The site will be closed for the duration of the next stock exchange work and will then reopen. This visit is a very nice introduction to visiting the city and allows you to better understand the Roman remains still visible today. Congratulations again to Andrea who shares her passion with us on a voluntary basis and in addition to her work. Beautiful generosity!

It was easy to book via email and Claudio, our tour guide, responded promptly. We were the only ones on the tour and Claudio was very knowledgeable and his English was good. The tour lasted an hour and I would highly recommend.

We were a group of 22 people from the URBS REGIA association, the visit was exceptional, wonderfully explained in Spanish. They offered us a very interesting and enjoyable description of the history of Milan and technical details about the construction of the Roman Theater of Milan. Highly recommended for all types of audiences.

Most incredible experience with a very special guide Claudo! Extensive knowledge of the history and the city. Phenomenal place worth really at least a couple of hours. You need to book in advance and keep this on top of your list.

We had an appointment for the visit in record time. Accompanied by Dr. Preti, we immersed ourselves in the Roman Mediolanum at 360 degrees, thus enriching our knowledge of the city.
Very interesting, then. discover the work of a pioneering female figure, Alda Levi, who was responsible for the discovery of part of the remains of the theatre.

It was a wonderful experience and the guide from the Chamber of Commerce conveyed to us with his enthusiasm many notions of the history of Milan unknown to me.

The visit was extremely interesting and engaging, lots of information about the history of Milan that I didn't know, told with skill and passion by our cicerone Mr Preti!

On a language school trip to Milan, we were carried away by the passion of Andrea, our guide, who told us, the middle school students and our teachers, the beautiful story of the foundations of Milan over more than 2000 years. Fascinating stories, technical explanations, amusing anecdotes intertwine and make us spend almost an hour and a half under the chamber of commerce in total immersion. The icing on the cake: the epilogue, where the tribute to Alda Levi is poignant, as Andrea is so praised for her work, her courage and her talents...
Thank you Andrea: you were fantastic, from start to finish, with your unique accent on this 100% French tour! Grazie mille, on behalf of all the Italian and Latin students, as well as the accompanying teachers, from the Anatole France college in Sin-le-Noble.

A hidden treasure of Milan, located in the basement of the Chamber of Commerce building. Unmissable, to be combined with a visit to the adjacent ruins of the imperial palace and the nearby archaeological museum. The visit is free, accompanied by Chamber of Commerce officials who guide visitors with enthusiasm and out of love for the city of Milan and its history. English speaking guide on request, reservation required.
