Nice and typical beach not too far from Berlin. Keep it family-friendly. There is a small part reserved for nudists but they are not numerous.

This would be a four but we travelled there and noone wanted to swim. The water was quite murky and very shallow. It was a lovely spot and for the history buffs who had watched the film about conference, well worth a visit. Like stepping back in time. 14 year old very happy reading his book on one of the loungers. €11 plus €2 deposit - cash only. Also covered in our zone 1 and 2 travel cards. After we went to Potsdam impromptu and it wasn't so paid through the nose for that bit - couldn't get extension as ours was on a Berlin welcome card (we didn't buy extension so our fault). Get off stop before Wannsee and walk through woods. You must take photo ID to this and all swimming pools in Berlin - including Olympic pool.

Great to find an inland beach 30mins from the city centre. Old school and a little faded glory but adds to the experience. Hire of Strandkorbs (beach baskets) and umbrellas available with a decent cafe. One negative is the sand could be better swept.

Poor water quality, showers hardly available. Buildings in great need of renovation. Male security and maintenance personnel. Nice large, clean sandy beach. Parasols and beach chairs can be rented. Easily accessible by public transport.

I loved this beach which is so easy to get to. It costs a few Euros to get in which I admit I was surprised by, although I guess it has its upkeep. The walk from the train station takes you through glorious woods, the sunlight filtering the trees. The beach itself has glorious soft golden sands, practically deserted when I visited in mid May with little booths you can sit in and a smattering of beach bars and restaurants - more fast food than anything else. You might wish to take your own then if you plan to spend the day, especially if you're vegan or have food allergies.

First visit - pretty big! Great beach with beach chairs. Lucky to get one. Water is very shallow (at least that was the case in August). Friendly staff. Good public transport connection. Fries - so-so. But motivated team. Nice for summer days when you want to escape the city. Buildings and sanitary facilities with patina. Could be better, but that's Berlin

wonderful beach actually and an institution! Unfortunately closed at 6pm with 30 degree heat.
Nudist area with "poisonous" horrible old Berlin women 60, 70, 80 +++ with butts, bellies and tits hanging down to the ground including tons of plastic teeth!
they think they can decide where others can lie! Unfortunately disgusting and no manners.
the women don't realize that others are the ones who suffer from such a sight.
5.50 entry is steep. 3.50 for 10 old chips, currywurst, better off with ginger.
well. but the beach is worth a visit or two!

This is an absolute must if you are visiting Berlin and want a day off from doing the usual city break activities.
Lovely clean beach with a large facilities complex which was built in the 30s but is well maintained.
Use the S Bahn to get there but don't get off at Wannsee. Get off one stop before at Nikolasse. 15 min walk along a wooded path to get to the beach past the cafes. 5 Euros to get in. YOU MUST BRING PHOTO ID TO GET IN. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Love this beach. It's so well laid out and clean. Can be a bit noisy, but head to the FKK part (if you're ok with nudity) and it's quieter with more shade.
Plenty to choose form food and drink wise, but the coffee is not very nice.
Lots of toilets, showers etc, so well worth the entrance fee.
Easiest way to get there is S7 and get off at Nikolassee - then it's about a 1km walk
