Very knowledgeable & friendly tour guide! Managed our time well yet not rushing us. Provided an excellent French picnic lunch. A most enjoyable day!!! Many thanks for a wonderful experience.

4 of us took a full day tour with Anthony. He was fantastic!! He was able to answer every question we had regarding the history of D day/WWII and every other historical question we had as well. A very pleasant guy, we all enjoyed our time with him and would recommend him highly.

Great tour. Very knowledgable tour guide. Even with more than 20 years experience in the US Army as paratrooper and Ranger, I still learned a lot and Yves was able to answer every question thrown at him with great explanations.
In addition to the tour, the picnic was fantastic to include the food, the scenery, and the conversation.
This tour was great for myself as well as for my three children aged 7-13. Looking forward to doing it again!

Our multigenerational family group had the pleasure to tour for two full days with Yves and Anthony. We visited many sites including the landing beaches of Omaha and Juno, Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches, American and British cemeteries, Bayeaux and the castle of William the Conquerer at Falaise. The tour was customized to include special stops like l’Abbaye d’Ardennes. Anthony shared his vast knowledge. His stories interested everyone from the children (ages 11 and 15) to the grandparents. Over the two days we covered lots of history and kilometers with Yves as our driver. The van was spacious and comfortable.
Our lunch stops were well chosen.
We loved our visit to Normandy and would recommend this tour company to all.

Although Yves was primarily our driver, which he conducted with the finest professionalism, he also was the perfect colleague for our guide. Yves himself has a deep interest in the history of D-Day and the region and he really helped round out our guide’s presentation. We went to the main sites and saw a number of tourists; the more remote sites that Yves took us to, sometimes several miles down unpaved country lanes, let our guide make our experience even deeper as we gained a better understanding of the breath of the invasion. And we had every one of those remote sites to ourselves as other tours seemed to find them too much of a bother (after all, why take people somewhere that was not in a movie?). To cap it off, his skill as a drone pilot and photographer provided us with the most wonderful videos of our tour.

We had a phenomenal tour with Dominique Fiquet as our tour guide. We sent her beforehand a LONG list of about 8 different sites our family wanted to visit during our brief whirlwind 9 hours in Normandy. She told us what trains to take from Paris and that she'd pick us up in Bayeux. We met her there and she has a beautiful Mercedes passenger van to use during the tour. My son wanted to add the German cemetery to our itinerary at this late date, a request which met with her bemused exasperation since we already had such an extensive list. But we departed and immediately started checking places off our list. Her deep knowledge of the area combined with her helpful binders of pictures and maps helped illustrate the points she made at each key area. She also supplemented the formal history of the area with additional personal anecdotes she heard when she guided veterans of D-Day decades later. These additional stories really helped enliven the tour. She weaved her way through our list of sites expertly, and we seemed to go against the typical tour guide flow as most of the time the roads and sites were relatively empty. We cruised through the entire day, enjoying lunch in St Mere Eglise with the model of the paratrooper draped on the church roof across from our picnic table. And yes indeed, before the day was done she managed to fit in a last stop at the German cemetery to the delight of my son before dropping us off at the train station. We therefore checked every stop off our to-do list! Thank you so much, Dominique, for a glorious visit to Normandy. During the course of the tour, we decided we need to spend a week here to get a much fuller appreciation of the entire battle. But I cannot see how we could possibly have packed more into the day than we did with Dominique. Merci beaucoup!!!

Could not believe her knowledge, her English skills, this girl knows it all! And it’s super personable as well.
Great sense of humor, easy-going… Joy to be around
We’ve been on a few tours, where we’ve hired a tour guide, she was communicative before, was spot on with details as to where to meet,
If you’re looking for someone that would check all the boxes, this girl would be the one !

Dominique not only was knowledgeable about the whole Normandy campaign but also enlightened us with so many small facts that we would not normally learn about during the invasion of Normandy. We will certainly call Dominique on our subsequent visits to Normandy for the other tours she provides.

Short stay in Cancale, capital of Breton oysters, with sale and tasting directly on the port. Characteristic village in Brittany, excellent location for visiting tourist destinations within a reasonable distance. Saint Malò at 13km, Mont Saint Michel at 40km, the lighthouse (open to the public) of Cap Frehel at 48km etc. Breton climate always windy between 15 and 22 degrees in mid-July. Worth a trip.

How many hours we need to spend for this tour and how is it the cost? We are a team of 8 persons. Are we going to vitit places by mini bus or just walking? Please the price as a team.

We are trying to find a tour of mainly Canadian sites in and around Caen.
Would this tour guide be able to do that for us or is the tour focused on American battle sites?
Does she pick up/drop off at hotels in Caen?
Does she add others to the tour to fill her vehicle or is it a private tour when booked?

All the tours can be adapted to the places you are most interested in and it's totally possible to do a Canadian focused tour. P/U and D/O at hotels or any location of your choice.
It's only private tours, there's no one that will be added to any tour, unless by you.

Buongiorno, siamo un gruppo di 5 persone ( 4 adulti ed un bambino ). Arriviamo il giorno 11 settembre nel porto di Cherbourg con la Costa Diadema. Vorremmo sapere se è possibile fare un tour con voi per vedere i luoghi dello sbarco alleato in Normandia ma ci occorre sapere quali sono i collegamenti dal porto di Cherbourg per raggiungervi.Grazie.
