We stopped by to sit and have our sandwiches and found the park to be very pleasant. Plenty of benches and picnic tables to sit at. There appeared to be a treasure hunt taking place organised by the local community, children having fun, dogs being walked and lots of anglers by the lake.

One of my favourite things to do is go for a walk around Acton Park. It’s always so beautiful, no matter what time of year it is. It’s such a friendly and relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend taking a walk around Acton Park if you get the chance.

Although it is small it is beautiful and suitable for everyone.There are paths to make it more accessible for wheelchairs and less able with parkland for families and dog walkers.It is a really nice place for a picnic as plenty of seating areas where you can view,one of the nicest lakes i have seen in a park,with plenty of ducks and wildlife to keep you entertained.It is well maintained,clean and you can tell it is respected,cared for and loved by locals

Living near to this park means I can visit every week. What a delight it is to have this green space and lake to feast my eyes on and enjoy the relaxation of the outdoors.
From bluebells in the woods to geese with their brood of goslings on the lake. Always something happening if you care to look. My grandson loves the children's play area too.

What a hidden gem ,beautiful well kept park. Plenty of land to walk, paths also available. A sizeable lake with wild life to sit and observe . Seating is available throughout the park to rest and admire the views. Children’s play area which is contained and therefore provides some security.

You can tell that the council have done a lot of work in the park,it looks greatly improved areas have been cleared and the overall effect is so much better.

We live close by and just love this park. The lake and trees are beautiful and the size if the park is not overwhelming. Good for walks and for those who like dogs. Also good for all four seasons as you see different aspects of the park.

Its a nice park for a stroll. Me and friend went walking here. There's a big lake. What can I say it's an alright park.

I was thinking of going to acton park while im in the area and taking a picnic for me and an elderly lady. We both have disabilities. A reiew I read says you have no toilets. Is that still true. It would be a lovely day if there was a loo, even if only a portaloo or a radar key toilet.

To my knowledge there was no loos or toilet facilities at the park what so ever.
