今天我們参觀了這裏，聽到了很多關於它的事情。這個模型村是今天波頓村的複製品。許多模型年久失修，並且對於看到使用現代方法進行的某些修復感到失望。

Hi Doreen, thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit. We are working hard on a programme of restoration on some of our buildings, and yes our predecessors in one or two instances have been happy to make things 'as good as new'! We're putting some of that right and ensuring that our current restorations are truer to the original methods......although as we are using newly quarried stone, from the same quarry that supplied us back in 1936, there will be a certain newness of look until the elements start the ageing process! 有天下午我來到這裏。這是一個相當古老的模型村莊，所以可能不像其他村莊那麼嶄新，但它是用真正的石頭，由合適的石匠，以1/9的比例製成的。值得一遊。

來到Boutton on the Water這個地方遊覽，看見遊客資訊圖上顯示有The Model Village，滿以為這是一個古老的建築和村落，所以刻意有最美麗的風景步行到位於邊陲位置的這個景點，付了入場費後進入方才發現與我們原先的想法有很大的落差，事實上他的名字並沒有騙人，他的確是一個鄉村的模型，像小人國一般將鄰近的建築和風景記錄下來，可能喜歡深入了解這區域的朋友會喜歡，只是我們停留了不足10分鐘就離開了。
