Absolutely beautiful, peaceful (in the off season!) spot and the junction of 2 rivers. Gorgeous views, small but interesting ruins. Interpretive signs in English, and mostly accessible for mobility impaired (you will not be able to get into the ruin due to a 2nor 3 steps worth of short segment of very uneven cobbles if in a chair, high lintel - but you can see inside very, very well and won't missing anything).

It was worth it to stop by, nice views of the Glomma river, beautiful ruins from 1100 and nice surroundings.

Fin lokasjon som byr på mye historie. Pleier å være her med hunden min. Lite folk, og fine omgivelser. Anbefaler å lese historien bak kirken da den har en spennende fortid.

Helt spesiell atmosfære, på historisk grunn, blir aldri lei av å besøke dette stedet. Fint for Picnic og konserter, husk myggspray

Ikke bare et sted med gammel kirkehistorie. Her ser man også spor av den norrønne historien. Fantastisk gåtur fra gården Ullershov og ut til ruinen.

Fin plass for besøk om du skal på dagstur. Her kan du f.eks ha en lunch/piknik i historiske omgivelser. Det går også en sti helt ned til vannet hvor det er fin utsikt.

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. So lovely to walk around and look at the church ruins, the few graves nearby and the lovely nature around. So pretty. No entrance fee, free parking near the church.

We took a little trip around Nes county and this place just took my breath away when we arrived here. Very calm and peaceful surroundings, beautiful and colourful nature by the river Vorma. The church is one of the best preserved churches in Norway and one was built in A.D. 1100. It's more than 900 years old and still look amaizing! The entrance is absolutely free, there is also a parking space, easy access.

Ci si arriva per una strada bianca stretta, dopo qualche kilometro si intravedono le rovine della chiesa. Al suo interno vi e' un altare moderno e delle "panchine" per la messa o matrimoni. Le rovine sono deliziose e piene di cenni storici,,,peccato in Norvegese...ampio parco dove sostare e godersi il panorama. Sono presenti alcune Tombe ed un tocco di modernita' e' dovuto dalla Torre con campana esterna in acciaio eretta nel 2010. Con alla spalle le rovine si puo' vedere dove i due fiumi Glomma e Vorma si uniscono e si vedono le due differenti portate di acqua. Se la giornata e' soleggiata. Al ritorno potete vedere un delizioso B&B dove e' possibile bere del cafe' e mangiare dell ottima torta casalinga.
