There was construction going on when I was there, which meant piles of gravel, a fair amount of mud, and a LOT of noise. This definitely impacted my enjoyment. Perhaps it should have been clear before I spent $32 on a ticket.
If I try to forget the noise, then it's not a bad park. Be prepared for a lot of walking, as the park is quite large and on a hillside. Most of the animals are viewed through a chain link fence. You can get quite close to some of the animals, but photography through the fence is challenging. They were feeding the bears while I was there, and the keeper was very friendly and helpful.

Un attrazione che può essere carina e curiosa anche se con qualche contraddizione per il fatto che gli animali vivono all’interno di aree chiuse, ad eccezioni di alcuni come le renne. Ma, viste le caratteristiche di alcuni, non poteva essere altrimenti, vista la loro pericolosità.. in realtà, chi è pericoloso è l’uomo e, in alcune occasioni, anche i turisti. L’emozione non è la stessa di un incontro in natura ma è comunque carino, soprattutto per i più piccoli. Il prezzo forse non è proprio economico.

Sehr großes Areal mit wunderbarem Panorama. Die Gehege sind sehr weitläufig und die Guides geben sich sehr viel Mühe.

Kr. 330 for en voksen islett er ganske stivt. Ingen rabatt for pensjonister.
Omtrent halvparten av dyrene var ikke synlige. I flg. annen besøkende er det vanlig dersom man ikke er der i foringstiden kl.13. Utstillingen innendørs om
rovdyr var fin og interessant. Kafeen hadde ikke kaker e.l. til tross for at vi var der midt i juni, kun burgere.

As I said in the title, you can see bears, reindeers, wolverines and other animals from very close distance.
Place is very user/ family friendly. Many grill places close to the main entrance.
Good food in restaurant. Not expensive. We paid 110kr for a great soup with three different kinds of wild animals meat.

Vi brukte først noen timer på å gå runden til alle dyrene også var vi med på den guidede rovdyromvisningen. Omvisningen var veldig bra og interessant, både for store og små. En liten nedtur for di minste at man ikke kunne gå inn til husdyrene, men vi skjønner at dette er et nødvendig coronatiltak, så vi vektlegger dette ikke i vår bedømmelse. Alt i alt et hyggelig besøk.
