We walked to the Beach from the Cruise Port. The beach was fine, but We got bombarded by local venders, and taxi drivers. Acting on a locals advice we walked about 2 blocks away from the beach, to a local grocery store. Those prices were very reasonable. However anything near the beach was tourist rip off prices.

Great beach which was clean and friendly atmosphere.

Recently spent 11 days here in Ocho I felt this beach was nice.
It was clean I didn’t see any rubbish around.
You have to pay to enter the beach
200 Jamaican dollars per adult
100 Jamaican dollar per child
750 Jamaican dollar per sunbed
750 Jamaican dollar per umbrella
They should have done a deal for bed and umbrella together.
I didn’t mind paying the entrance fee because it means not everyone is on the beach as people who don’t want to or can’t pay can’t come on the beach.
There is plenty of areas to swim within the floating balls if you go outside the balls you risk being hit by water sports.
They also had lifeguards who were actually doing their jobs and watching the water occasionally whistling if needed.
You’re not allowed playing /footballs in the water.
A man from across the road I think from sandles hotel comes and asks if you would like any food.
We ordered burger and fries 750 Jamaican dollar and fries 500 Jamaican dollar the man was nice and not pushy.
Water was very nice and you can see fish / sea urchins under the water if you have googles.

Beautiful beach however the actually swimming area is limited. Best location for food drink atmosphere and feeling comfortable in Jamaica.

Well maintaned beach , umbrellas and chairs provided and there are restaurantes. The best beach in Jamaica. Great for family and group trips. THIS BEACH IS A GEM

We spent the day at this beach which was very close to the terminal. There were many families like us and it felt safe despite the recent travel alerts on Jamaica. Food options are nearby. There are some trees that provide some shade if you don't have a beach umbrella. Small entry fee.

We went with my partner on one of the stops on the cruise. We wanted to do something that is close to the boat and we found this beach just a 5-minute walk away. They charge you a small entrance fee, and you have access to a beautiful, clean beach, with bathrooms and lockers available for an amount.
When you have little time it is the ideal place to get to know a beach of eight rivers.

This establishment was excellent every single person that worked. There was amazing they treated us like royalty. The place was clean, so much food, and so much drinks.

This is a gorgeous beach, 12 minute walk from the furthest cruise dock. Yes you walk through town with locals pestering you, but if you just say “thanks I’m good” and keep walking then it’s no problem. I felt incredibly safe the whole time. $3 entry per person is a steal compared to shore excursions. The water and the beach itself were gorgeous and clean. Our umbrella guy Bobby was a hoot and came over regularly to check on us. If you’re expecting a private beach club experience then go elsewhere. If you want a clean, authentically Jamaican beach with friendly locals then go here (also known as Turtle Beach in Google Maps)

Good day, the cost for entry is $200 Jamaican dollars for adults and $100 JMD for children ages 4 - 12. If you do not have any Jamaica dollars, the cost is $3 US dollars for adults and $1 USD for children. Unfortunately, the Ocho Rios Bay Beach is currently closed due to the pandemic.

I think Tuesday Wednesday, most of the cruise ships dock in Ocho Rios Thursday through Sunday, I would avoid sandcastle hotel
