0n Sky Princess. Didn't choose any excursion. Took a long walk into Ocho Rios to get flavor of the place. Returning to boat, stopped here for a beer. What a pleasant surprise! Not only food and drink but a lovely small beach with plenty of beach chairs. Wish I'd worn my bathing suit. Next time...

Very slow service 3:15pm paid for order and 3:31 to get. Only one person making the hot and cold drinks. This is while other people in th back.

We booked the rum and coffee tasting the rum you got about 1/2 a teaspoon to taste on 3 different rums the coffee was made espresso style split between the entire group of 13 adults it didn’t even cover the bottom of the cup the person making the coffee didn’t want you to add anything to it wanted you to drink it black and they didn’t tell us that our 3 kids couldn’t even be in there while we done the coffee tasting until it was time so we were suppose to trust our kids with complete strangers in another area and in the discription when booking this it didn’t say anything other than 6 years old to come there and all my kids were over 6 so it was over 300$ for my kids to sit and do nothing and I was unaware of how it was gonna be the Jamaican buffet was margaritaville jerk chicken with beans and rice mixed together and cole slaw no drinks included this excursion was not worth it it was about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there the shop people raised their prices and when you walked away they tried to lower the prices to make a sale and if you don’t buy something they start mumbling among themselves felt very uncomfortable and unappreciated being there do not recommend

Always worth a visit here & take it for what it is. Call it a tourist trap if you want but its a cruise ship port so learn to barter or negotiate your prices. Learn to play the game! Its the same at every port in the world not just Ocho Rio's so some of the review below complaining should have really just stayed away. Make your experience better by knowing what you want when you go there too. Better value paying in Jamaican money also. Lots of great shops here along with good food options & great little supermarket for those staying across the street on Turtle Beach Road like we were. Shout out to all the shop owners there saw me everyday stocking up on things. Tuff Gong shop & lady across from there, always greeting with a smile & hello. Shout out to all the ladies at Memba Mart. You were always friendly & great to chat with while I was buying up all your wata! hahahaha This whole mall (if that's what we'll call it) is a great place to visit & don't be detoured by complainers who are likely complained on every review they sent out

Great place with movie theatre, margaritaville and Starbucks coffee.
Drawback is free parking is full. Paid 300 for paid parking and not paved, rough.
Plus guy trying to sell boat tours blocking the main entrance.
Always hate coming to Oche and getting these people trying to sell me boat ride and such. Or sell drugs.

Excellent spot for shopping and eating. Great deals to be had. No pressure to be had to purchase items. You can negotiate prices depending how you pay.

We left our all-inclusive resort to explore Ocho Rios. We stopped at the Champion grocery store to purchase a few things off resort, including Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. We came across this little shopping area and spent about an hour. Prices are a little better than resort shops - things are clearly marked up, but we were able to bargain a bit. There is one really nice shop selling linen items which are handmade in Jamaica. We purchased a dress and a button up shirt, both had handmade buttons made from coconuts. Much of the merchandise is similar to what you will find elsewhere, but there were also some unique things, making it worth the stop.

First visit. We were staying at a nearby hotel in Rinaway Bay and wanted to get off resort for a couple of hours.
Very impressed by cleanliness of the area. We visited on a day a cruise ship had docked so busy with a great atmosphere. We visited a few bars, had an ice cream and simply enjoyed the vibes.

Molto in voga , forse più tra i locali che tra i turisti, é un complesso moderno con diversi locali dove si può bere e mangiare, c'è anche un accesso al mare, e poi molti negozi che vendono pacottaglie per turisti.

If you mean because of Thanksgiving, they do not celebrate that holiday, so everything will be open. I have been in Jamaica for several US Holidays, and many Jamaican ones too and I have never seen anything closed (other then banks and mail).

Are the hot tub, slide and pool still in operation at Margaritaville? Are the shops open 9-5 or is it just when cruise ships come in?

All the shops are open, but covid restrictions are now in place, so opening hours may vary based on the curfew.
