北區是個有著靜謐的都市秘境，公園路的321巷是以前的日軍軍官宿舍，進駐了不少藝術家，每棟日式老屋中都有不同的展覽；位於海安路的花園夜市是台南與台灣知名的夜市之一，並曾於2013年榮登Facebook全球熱門打卡地點第12名。

Tainan is one of the earliest developed areas in Taiwan, and it also became the base during the Dutch colonization in 1624. Then, in 1661, Jeong Seong-gong came here, established the Jeong family, and drove out the Dutch forces, becoming a symbolic figure in Taiwan's history. He died shortly afterwards, and the dynasty also passed through three kings and collapsed after 22 years in 1683, but the historical background Accordingly, he was revered more in Tainan, which was the base of his activities, than anywhere else, and there are elements commemorating him here and there. This is a statue in the square on the west side of Tainan Railway Station (towards the city), located in the middle of the multi-level intersection. It functions like a symbol of Tainan's history and can be said to be an element that symbolizes that this is the center of the city.
