You can see this temple from afar. It is the Thai version of the Golden Rock in Myanmar. It is worth visiting Wat Phrathat Doi Mon Ching just because the great views of Doi Luang Chiang Dao.

If you go to the hot springs and sticky waterfall at the national park north of chaing dao, stop by this beautiful temple (remember to cover your knees and shoulders). You need a bike to get up here, so leave the red truck in the city. The view up here is breathtaking ave you'll be the only person here who is not a monk. Take it all in, see a huge golden rock and some rooster statues, and Be Respectful of those worshipping here. Oh, and the kitties seem nice too.

ミャンマーのゴールデンロックにそっくりな岩があります。金色の仏塔や、落ち着いた雰囲気のお堂も見どころです。
チェンマイからバイクで行きましたが、道も舗装されていて1時間半ぐらいのいいツーリングになりました。
