Went for a walk around the lake and it was very pleasant. Plenty to see and the lake itself is nice. Everytime we drove by there were also many people doing various activities around the lake. Very pretty area and nice easy hikes

The lake can be easily reached from Quality Hotel that is used by airlines when flights are rescheduled/ canceled.
The lake is accessible in 10/15 minutes by a path that starts behind Quality Hotel. It takes 45mins/1h to go around the lake…and you can breathe fresh air, much better than staying at the airport. Airport can be reached in 15mins by a bus shuttle at the hotel.

Her er det mulighet for avslapning, trening og sosialt liv. Nordbytjernet er det flotteste rekreasjonsområdet i Ullensaker.

Dette er et sted hvor alle kan nyte av natur og frisk luft. Mange folk på Jessheim bruker dette til rekreasjon og trening. Dessuten er det et rikt dyreliv her.

Brukbart for en liten tur eller sosialt umgjenge. Går for lei da det ikke skjer noe og er ende vannet..ikke noe cafe eller restauranger her med folkliv.

Her er det mulighet for å gå tur med flere løyper. Bade om sommeren. Eller sette seg på en benk og nyte stillheten ved vannet.

En perle for omgivelsene. Flott område for bading og tur. Rekreasjon og samling av energi. Fint å ta med ungene på tur.

The walk around the lake is easy and takes about 45 minuets with normal speed. The trail is a dirt road and it is possible to go there with strollers. Not so sure about wheelchairs. The landscape is varied from forest and hilly to relatively flat and grassy. There are a couple of docks where you can sit and maybe fish provided you have paid you fishing license. There is also plenty of parking and an outdoor gym, sand volleyball course nd grass for playing whatever you want to play. The main and biggest beach can be really crowded on a good summer day, but there are more places to swim if you just walk a bit. Lots of people walk their dogs here, but they need to be on a leash.

N'hésitez pas, quand vous êtes au Quality Airport Hotel Gardermoen dà prendre l'air dans la forêt derrière l’hôtel et aller jusqu'au Lac. le tour est facile et rapide, une petite demi heure de détente, a admirer plage et sous bois au hasard, nous avons même trouver des girolles et des pieds de mouton.

Hi, I will visit Oslo in end Nov, my flight will reach Oslo at 6am, we plan to go Jesshiem before take another flight to Bergen at 1.30pm, is it possible? May I know how to go to Nordbytjernet from Gardomoen Oslo Airport, do I need to walk to this lake from Jesshiem? Thanks

Taxi is expensive from osl, bus cheaper, take 10 minuits or so. But in lack of time taxi is ok. November might be with or without snow, cold or not so cold, difficult to know yet😊
- if snow there are som places only for skiing, but not the round near water , there you can walk. Wish you a nice trip to Norway!
