It is a park with clean air and nature-friendly nature, so if you visit on a clear day, you can take a walk as if you were on a picnic. If you visit in the fall when the wind is blowing, you can see the really cool and clear sky, which is truly healing.

Really loved being here and strolling around. It was so peaceful and open. Spend a whole day walking around and just relaxing out in the nature. Loved the sunset and visiting the shaky tower. What a nice break from busy Seoul, and you can easily get to this Eco Park by taking one of the Gyeonggi buses and a short taxi ride from the bus stop in Siheung-si. Take water and snacks with you as you probably won’t be able to buy any once you get to the eco park.

If I go here, I can see the sky that I haven't seen before. It's even better because it shows different feelings from season to season. The air is clear, too. And I think the mud valley from the observatory is really nice. I want to go again next time.

갯골 생태공원은 사계절 모두가 새로운 풍경이다. 물이 들어올때 물이 나갈때의 모습도 다르다. 그곳에서 방게나 다리가 하나뿐인 농게, 앞으로 가는 게도 볼수 있다. 가을에는 코스모스와 갈대도 아름답고 여름에 해당화꽃이 지천이다. 또한 소금을 만드는 염전도 구경하고 물놀이도 할 수 있어 좋다.

it takes determination to go here from Seoul if you are just using public transportation. But it's all worth it. You will find serenity, beautiful landscape, flowers in bloom and i love the observatory deck. It feels so good to hear and see the wind. Quoting from a kdrama, can you see the wind? yes, through its reeds.

수도권에서 여기 만큼 시야가 탁 트이고, 자연친화적인 공원은 아마 없을 것 같다. 공원 중앙에 나무로 된 20미터 전망대도 있고, 가족 방문객들을 위한 편의 시설 및 잔디 관리도 아주 잘 되어 있다. 자전거를 타면 여기서 서쪽으로는 오이도 등대, 동쪽으로는 호조벌을 지나 물왕저수지까지 차도가 아닌 자전거 전용도로로 이동할 수 있다. 봄에는 벗꽃, 여름에는 텐트족, 가을에는 아름다운 단풍을 즐길 수 있는 곳이다. 늠내길의 중심인 곳 (물왕저수지-호조벌-관곡지 연꽃테마파크-갯골생태공원-월곶-배곧신도시-오이도)
