Chris did an outstanding job hosting and serving as docent on Mt Cook & Hooker Valley Hike. We made it past the 3rd suspension bridge taking in the spectacular views, raging rivers, and majestic mountains. This was our first trip to New Zealand and Chris made this tour outstanding with his historical information and jokes. Many Thanks Chris !

My partner and I went on this tour for my birthday today and felt it was outstanding! Not only was our guide Richard incredibly knowledgeable, but we appreciated the care he put into his recommendations across the day. We also appreciated that this tour really let us experience a range of amazing nz landscapes!

Incredible experience! The journey to Aoraki/Mt Cook was beautiful, our guide Sarah provided great stories and facts along the way. Thank you Sarah!
Truly an unforgettable experience. The hike itself was gorgeous and majestic. Definitely worth the challenge if you’re not an avid hiker, the elevation is low but if you’re not a usual hiker you might need to pace yourself as the incline is gradual. There are a few stair steps and make sure to bring sunscreen and sun coverage!

Another fantastic value for money tour by this Group. Chris the guide was knowledgeable and fun to be with on the journey with lots of interesting facts about New Zealand. The bus was very comfortable with lots of stops along the way for photos and food. My Cook and the hike were amazing with options provided for those who didn’t want to walk the trail. Cheeky Kiwi Travel are highly organised and reliable. A great company to use.

Blessed with pristine countryside and perfect weather this was a fantastic day trip. The Hooker Valley track is a gentle walk with amazing views on a grand scale. Sarah was a knowledgeable guide on the history and culture of the areas we passed through, brought a sense of fun (like a cheeky kiwi should), and was a very safe and courteous driver. The company were easy to deal with and reliable. Pick up was offered at the motel.

Today 19th October 2023 We had a great day with Cheeky Travels Mt. Cook Tour. With the correct time they picked up weather was excellent and our Chauffeur guide Shane amaizing talented guide who entertaind us with many information we never felt a single moment of boring. He knows how to entertian with lots of information, time and planing was perfect. I am in travel trade for nearly over 35 years and I have been traveling to many destination and I would say this Mt.Cook tour was excellent all 9 pax will agree with me. I would hilghy recommend Cheekey Kiwi Travels if you are in Queenstown and look for day out tour Don't forget to ask Shane as a guide you will really enjoy your tour.. Actually we book our tour through other tour company but they could not capture this tour due to lack of participants. We just randomly call Cheekey Kiwi Travels they were so kind and helpfull to board on us to todays tour we were really lucky to connect with Cheeky Keei Travels . Floks if you are in Queenstown and wish to Explore the area contact Cheekey Kiwi Travels they will not dissapoint you. As they are the best Thank you Shane and Cheeky Kiwi Travels

We had an incredible time. Our tour guide Shane was perfect. He shared his wealth of knowledge of NZ, he was friendly and took an interest in getting to know all the passengers. He did everything to make sure we have the perfect day. Mount Cook and the tour was perfect.

Travelled from Christchurch to Queenstown via Mt Cook. The vehicle used to transport us wholly inappropriate for the distance and number of people. The seats were smaller than airline seats for such a long trek is unforgiveable. I couldn't even get comfortable as there was absolutely zero room for me to move. Ride ruined the day for me. As well as the delay of an hour because the driver couldn't find other travelers. Zero stars. Having polite staff and rest stops does not make up for a terrible day in a cramped tour bus that obviously was made for short rides not long distance transport.

There is a reason Cheeky Kiwi consistently to get 5 star rated reviews. Their trips rock. From start to finish there is never a dull moment, and their staff members continue to make sure your trip is memorable and exciting.
This is true for us. My 11 YO daughter and I are down in QT for the week (4D3N actually). First time for her and the flight in was hairy being caught in violent turbulence and 100km cross wind. Almost didn’t make it (to Welly) but such was the initial experience for her for QT. We booked the Hooker Valley trip with small group.
I won’t spoil the trip highlights however I will share the the key things and elements for me that make a trip and a company successful which are the staff themselves.
Good communication at the start and throughout via Viator - (thanks 5 star for you for relaying our messages and the assistance). Pick up was good and sweet (on time), and straight into the first 5 mins you could tell Sarah (driver, tour guide and glacier extraordinaire) was super relatable person. She is bubbly (this is throughout the day) and chatty (interesting topics, not overly verbose) and helpful. We went a long way to Mt Cook and along the drive we saw and came across wondrous nature scenes and sights as one can imagine in the South Island. Sarah’s general knowledge is amazing. At one point we (I rather) tested her understanding of the formation of glaciers. Not only she explained it all but she did it in most comprehensive way a a nature professor keeps her class of 100 students interested.
Anyway, excellent trip - made possible by caring and passionate staff.
Top marks to you all. Keep up the good work. Hope the return of the tourists to QT after a period of inactivity help boost your company and retain staff like Sarah and more.
