We had a great time First visit to Hawaii.
Tim was our driver. He is a safe driver.
Very knowledge of culture,. Also about each stop. As qe are traveling he has information along the way. We can ask questions and if he uncertain he will look it up,

We had fun on this tour! Our tour guy Tim was great, he was very knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii, entertained us the whole time with jokes. The only reason why I didn’t give them a 5 star was because during lunch time he took us to the polysian culture market and there’s was many option to eat, though he only gave us one option to a very specific restaurant. We would of wanted to have more options since he dropped us off, we could of. Another thing he failed to tell us was that the walk to the waterfall was like 30 mins. So make sure you do your research. Other than that it was great! Thank you!

Didn’t like having my food restaurant selected for me. There were other choices where we stopped. And the waterfall hike was a 30 minute walk uphill. We were not expecting that. Should of done my research but they’re supposed to inform us these important things.

It was my first time in Hawaii and we had Tim as our tour guide and he was very nice and funny! He had me and my family comfortable and happy with going on this tour!

This is a long tour, but thanks to our knowledgeable guide, Kamana (sp) she made it entertaining and interesting. This was not my first time in Hawaii, but I had never really explored Oahu. Departing from Waikiki, we headed NE and wound our way almost around the island. Waimea Canyon with the beautiful botanical gardens and the hike to Wailele Waterfall was a real highlight. Seeing the big waves on the north shore where the elite surfers go was very cool. My only complaint would be that it was too long before the lunch stop. We were on the road shortly after 7, and didn’t get lunch until about 1. I was absolutely starving. I think lunch should have been sooner, as I almost felt sick. And the lunch place was just ok. I was still hungry after eating the food, which is a variety of shrimp dishes, very tasty, but a side salad would have been nice.

It was an amazing round trip along the North Shore. Besides the itinerary the highlight was definitely our lovely guide Elika. As born and raised on Oahu she could provide us much information about the island, language and culture. For me it made my return after 22 years to these places complete and it was great walk down memory lane.

He is a nice guy and very well-informed. I went to college in Hawaii, and he told me things I had not expected. He says he still learns something new daily and looks up information on Google when customers ask him questions he does not know. It was really an awesome experience, and this is from a guy who tends to be critical.

I travelled with my 20 year old daughter.It was our first venture to Hawaii and this tour was a lot of fun for us.The weather was not altogether on board, it rained throughout, with sunny spells(I’m Irish, does it show?) Regardless the trip was great.I particularly enjoyed the passionate guide, Kanamu, she did a great job with the history of the region as well as Hawaii at large which I had no idea.
My daughter loved the stops with fab views and of course the rooster, hen and chicks.She enjoyed the snacks at various stops.All great, would recommend it.

It was a great trip. The guide was knowledgable and entertaining. The stop at the Dole plantation was a disappointment though. They show you pink pineapples but have none to taste. In fact it was the most commercialized part of the trip.

We booked this tour thru Travelocity. The bus was very nice and it has had AC. Driver - Tour Guide was very good .

I noticed that with larger tour groups, you need to show negative covid test within last 48 hours or vaccination card and ID. However, I did not see that requirement for this tour. Wondering whether there is a requirement or not. Thanks.

No, we did not have to show either vaccination card or negative test. But we were required to wear masks.

Does this tour include swimming at Waimea Falls and at beach stops? I understand that there is an entry fee to Waimea but wasn’t sure how much time was allotted at each stop. Also, if swimming is possible, are there changing facilities or do you recommend wearing a swim suit. Thank you!

You only get about an 1.5 hours at this location. So you have to hike the trail (depending on fitness level & amount of photos you take) and then if you get in the water - it would be a short dip because you have to allot time to make it back down. It’s a possible feat, but I would suggest wearing your swim gear so that you can make it a smooth transition. There are changing stalls, but it’s a busy spot. Hope this helps.
