We took adult children for this boat excursion to explore wild life in national park and snorkel. We observed blue-footed booby, many other birds and sea life. We also spotted whales! It was a beautiful afternoon island tour. Palma and Edgar were great hosts. The boat and gear was new and well maintained. It was just the right length of time. I hope to do this again next year and highly recommend as family and friends outing,

Hector, Carlos and Edgar were super hosts- well versed in island ecosystem. Lots of whales, dolphins and lovely sand beach. The guys were great with all ages from very young to pretty old:)

This experience was perfect from start to finish. The staff were knowledgeable, efficient and super friendly. Our guide, Palma and captain, Edgar went over and above to make this an educational and fun adventure. We saw so many whales, blue footed boobies and of course, many, many fish while snorkeling along the rocks of the Marietas.
We thought we'd never see the day my sister-in-law would even get in the water, but Palma assured her he would be by her side to help and he was. Because of his expertise, she did not miss out on a great snorkeling adventure.
This is a must do!

My husband and I took our two adult children on this tour at the tail end of December 2023. The sea was a little rough, but we had a great time and felt very safe. I would say that this is not a swim for everyone. This time of year the water was a little rough.
It was an amazing experience though. We took the boat out with Captain Nano and guide Rodrigo. Both were excellent at their jobs. Nano got us into this little inlet so smoothly and it was amazing to be so close to a cave we otherwise would not have seen. Rodrigo was a fun, funny, helpful guide who is so knowledgeable about the history, the sea life, the birds and the overall area of the Marietas Islands. What a strong swimmer he was as he took us on a snorkle expedition, checking in with each of us, making sure we were safe, happy and always stayed together. The trip into the secret beach was a little rough and he pulled several of us in to make it easier on us. All in all we were in excellent hands for our half day tour.

I signed up for the ecodiscovery Marietas Islands tour once I learned that a colony of Blue-footed Boobies lives there, as I thought they only lived in the Galapagos.
Tour: Our main guide, Hector Original, was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to be around. He also made sure to keep us safe and helped us follow the national park regulations. I was traveling solo with a group of 11 other people who all knew each other, so I appreciated that Hector would share additional insights with me when I was off on my own. On the boat and in the water, Hector had support from our other guide, Carlos, who was equally friendly and always had a smile. During the snorkeling portion of our trip, the water was quite choppy so I started to feel a bit dizzy from putting my face down in the water while bobbing up and down in big waves. I decided to just tread water and enjoy watching the boobies flying overhead and preening on rocks, and Carlos kept me company. During the last portion of our trip to visit a beach, Hector had a sealed container for us to bring our phones. I'm so glad he did, because it was there that we finally saw a boobie up close; I got some great video with my phone!
Communcation / Logistics: They are responsive, proactive, and thorough, providing accurate information. I emailed Roberta on a Sunday requesting a tour for later in the week and was able to go on a Friday. A few days later, Roberta and I coordinated by WhatsApp to swap my trip to earlier in the day at her request.

Our guide and boat captain were amazing, with great local knowledge and went above and beyond. The snorkeling was fantastic with great shows of fish and eels.
The island themselves are impressive and rich with some interesting history.
After shopping around we found Sayulita Entourage and they were cheaper than many but still provided an unreal service. The boat we used to reach the island was by far the nicest boat on the water that day taking people snorkeling.

Roberta was fantastic to work with over email in terms of getting me onto the trip I wanted. The crew - Edgar and Stephan were great. Palma was my guide to Hidden Beach and he was fantastic and funny. Do everything he says, you do not know better than him. You have to be a strong swimmer to get to Hidden Beach. But it's totally worth it.
You don’t have to bring your own waterproof phone case, they have one for you. They will take plenty of pictures and you'll have some great memories.

This tour was fantastic and even better than we expected. Palma and Edgar were excellent hosts and were beyond knowledgeable of the islands and surrounding areas. The snorkeling portion was organized and at a relaxed pace where you could really look around and see things without feeling rushed. Roberta also made booking clear and simple. Would recommend over and over again.

This is an amazing experience made even better by the attentive and knowledgeable crew. Every aspect of this excursion was great, from the companies responsiveness to their timeliness and everything in between. Highly recommended company!

My sister and I did 3 adventures with Sayulita Entourage this past May, visiting from Canada. Discover diving, the Marietas islands scuba diving and the hidden beach snorkelling adventure. I would recommend this company. Roberta was great to deal with and very helpful when booking the tours. I am a brand new diver so I was a bit hesitant to do my first group dive. She assured me that the dive group was small and didn't try to upsell me, even though I tried to upsell myself on a private dive haha. She was right, it was a small group and just fine. My sister did the discovery dive and I joined her in the pool session for a refresher. Stephane was wonderful, patient and encouraging. We both had a great time with our diving but the highlight was really the snorkelling and the hidden beach. Manuel was a rock star, getting us to the private beach before the other groups for solo pictures and he was also very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. Edgar the boat captain was a great guy too, happy and enthusiastic, you can tell he loves his job. We had an awesome time, great company and crew and will definitely book again!

Hmmm - we took a six-year old just for snorkeling but she was scared being in deep water (had only been in pool & shallow ocean previously) - apparently there’s an age limit for swimming to the hidden beach (through the tunnel),10 years old - makes sense to me, as even with a life jacket the 6-year old was too scared to get out of sight of the boat.

Son 3 horas en el mar con salida a las 9 am de Sayulita.
Los trasladamos a Punta de Mita y de alla salimos por 3 horas.
Este recorrido no incluye Playa Escondida.
Por Playa Escondida el costo es de 150 usd y se puede reservar nada mas directamente con nosotros

Unfortunately due to government regulation, they only allow 50 people per day to the beach. You have to book access to the beach through Servicios Nauticos de Punta de Mita and then they raffle off the tours to the various tour operators that go to this beach (to keep any one of them getting a monopoly on it). You also only get 20 minutes at the beach for $100.
Didn’t seem worth it to us so we didn’t bother following through. The tour and snorkelling around the island was grand enough.
If it IS the route you want to go, any of the tour operators can give you direction on how to get your access ticket.

Hi, if we have a group of six people but two are not good swimmers should we still do this activity? The biggest concern would be whether or not there’s a way to access Marieta secret beach without swimming? Thank you!

Hi, there is no way to enter the hidden beach without swimming.
Visitors of the hidden beach need to know how to swim, be in good health conditions and have an age between 10 and 60
