The guide was Great! Very knowledgeable & friendly. Only thing that made a four rather than five, is the length wasn’t published correctly. It was longer than we thought which wasn’t a bad thing other than we weren’t prepared for the cold & hadn’t had dinner.

Yes, I may have gone a bit over the two hour time frame that night. Sorry if it was a displeasure. I goal to finish right on time but sometimes I forget to look at my watch 🙂. Sorry you were hungary becasue of this, but I would suggest guests eat dinner before the tour or bring food and drinks with them because even if the tour finished right on time, that would still be eating dinner after 10 pm if the tour starts at 8 pm.
And yes, it does get cold at night in Northern Arizona during the late fall and winter months. I provide a big blanket and hand warmers for everyone starting around mid October, but It's good to dress warm too, especially if you're not used to cool weather.

I liked the concept of looking at the dark night sky without using a telescope, but this tour didn’t live up to the hype or the price. The time was moved up, but since one participant was on an “electronics free” vacation, the guide waited to start. We had paid for transportation to and from the location, which means we had to leave before the program was completed. The location is no where we wanted to be left alone as people were camping and sleeping in cars nearby without access to water or bathrooms. Other irritants included having all the chairs set up facing opposite to most of the stars, planets and constellations he was pointing out. His sense of humor and jokes fell flat with both my husband and myself. Overall, this was our biggest disappointment on our trip to Sedona.

This was an extremely educational and entertaining experience. Chad regaled us with story and song while educating us on lore and astronomy. His use of technology enhanced the learning. Many thanks, Chad, for a chilly night well spent.

The date we were originally booked for was overcast and the cancellation time was extended. We rebooked but I injured my leg while hike and the provider allowed us to cancel completely. I truly appreciated his responsiveness and flexibility. While I missed out on the stars, I would absolutely book again with him.

I know it was your second attempt too because a few nights before the weather caused you to want to switch to a different night. And yes, in either of these cases I'm going to refund the guest, regardless of the 24 hour cancellation policy. Thanks for the appreciation on that. And you know what they say, third time is charm so it would be fantastic to have you and your companions on tour if you come back to awesome Sedona :):)

This tour was amazing!! I never imagined seeing so many stars with the naked eye. Chad was too entertaining, he gave us so much information during the two hours of our tour, that we never got bored. It was a special night. He made us feel comfortable and like family. We recommend it 100%.

First of all Robert was amazing. He was patient, knowledgeable and very intune to the energy centers in sedona. He went in the pace of the group, we had people that needed extra help when walking. He allowed everyone to ask question and explained complex spiritual concepts. I loved the kindness that I sensed came from his spiritual core. The sites were amazing and he was great at explaining the paranormal phenomenon in the sites. I will come again and will see him again.

Hi Zaida, this Chad. it was a great pleasure having you on my Night Sky Tour and I still have dreams of thatt great pizza you have in your home city of Chicago :) I know we talked about you possibly doing my Vortex tour the next day, but I was booked and so I think you took my friend, Robert's, vortex tour instead. I think this review was meant for him, yes? On my night sky tour we all stay in one place to view from so there is no walking to sites :)

The night sky above the outskirts of Sedona was the most awe-inspiring vision ever. I kept trying to take it all in and wondering how I would ever be able to remember or describe the beauty! Chad was so informative and very prepared with lots of visuals, as well as telling lots of stories. He offered very comfortable seating, and we appreciated the warm blankets as it grew cooler as the night progressed. We were very happy we chose watching the stars with Chad!!

Thank you so much Daniel, as It was fantastic having you on tour!💫 I really appreciated your interest, enthusiasm, and adventurous spirit and yes, it was a cloudy night, a rare sight in Sedona since we get 17 inches of rain a year. However, what we did see was beautiful and I'm very glad you appreciated the stories and astronomy concepts ithat I told and presented. I have put many years into them🙂💫
And yes, I always set up for tour, even if it's cloudy, because many times the clouds clear right before the tour or shortly within it because of the Oak Creek Canyon micro current night winds.
And, as my Viator/Trip Advisor site says, on cloudy nights, guests do not need to worry about the 24 hour cancellation policy because they can decide for themselves wether or not they wish to do the tour up to the start of the tour and still get a full refund if they desire it💫👍🙂

This was a surprise for my husband for our 26th anniversary. Chad was very knowledgeable about the constellations and the galaxy as a whole. Unfortunately, nature had other plans and the sky was cloudy with rain. We did get to see some of the constellations and Milkyway. Chad has impressive knowledge and is a great storyteller!!! We did learn a lot and Chad's visual aids helped me learn about the topic he was teaching. I highly recommend this tour!!!

Your interest, enthusiasm, and adventurous spirits were most appreciated,
and yes it was cloudy for about two thirds of the tour and even rained a little...a rare sight in Sedona since we get 17 inches of rain a year....good thing I had set up some coverings just in case right?💫🙂 However, when the sky did open, it gave one of the most magnificent views you can see of the milky way and many constillations as well. I'm very glad you appreciated the stories and astronomy concepts ithat I told and presented until the clouds cleared. I have put many years into them and love telling them🙂💫
