Very professional staff. We’ve taken this excursion before. We highly recommend. Taylor knew great whale facts. Thanks, Randy, for not pumping up the heat! Your local knowledge made the bus transport interesting.

So many cruises we have gone on, and there is none which comes close in majesty and awe than an Alaskan cruise. Juneau is incredible and a day tour with this outfit was the highlight of our shore visit. They gave us a glimpse of what we would like to come back to and see more of. Great choice!

We really enjoyed our day with Larry, Steph, and Sophie with Alaska Tales. It was easy to find them. The glacier visit was great. We had time to hike to Nugget Falls. We saw SO many whales. All the boats talk to each other so if there are whales anywhere around, you won’t miss them. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. On the drive, they showed us where to look for eagles and bears, and we saw both. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this excursion! It was a rainy day but still great. Our tour operators were Ben and Charlie. They were both great. We saw so many whales, humpbacks and orcas. They said this trip had the most whales they had ever seen. It was amazing. I highly recommend!

Charlie, Ashley, and the crew were great. Made sure we saw several whales. You can tell they really love the whales and sharing seeing them with others.

Hi, our NCL ship originally arrived at 2:30 til 11:PM, but now changed to 2:30 til 10PM. My question is if we take a 4:30 PM tour on August 13. Will we be back in time to get back on our cruise ship?

I think it all depends on the whale. I travel the same time Juneau and Icy Strait Point. The one in Icy Strait Point are very active and you can see them eating, but the one in Juneau was completely dead like they just woke up and they don’t even get close to the boat

When we went, there were multiple operators on the boardwalk offering the same excursions. They always want to fill their bookings, so we went there early the same day of our cruise and simply negotiated a rate. It helps if you have multiple people, and if you are ready when they need to fill a bus.

We were in a fairly protected bay. Diff experience than WW of CC in open ocean. Of course everyone has diff sensitivity to sea sickness… Hope this helps. Amazing trip!

Due to flight cancelations and the re active COVID, we need to cancel our reservation. We hope to reschedule at another time in the future
My question is how do I cancel and get my refund. Everything is paid for?

You would need to call them. If you booked on Trip Advisor, you should be able to cancel the tour after you log into Trip Advisor. I had written down one phone number and it was 907-419-3098. We went on the tour as a family and do not work for them.

They probably can make it accessible but it will be tricky. There are stairs to get into the boat and the viewing areas aren’t necessarily wide, but they are very helpful and might be willing to accommodate.
