An absolutely brilliant tour with just the right balance of history, culture, food and sightseeing. Akiko was the best guide of our 2 weeks in Japan and as an amazing bonus, her Mum joined us at the Peace Park to give us the benefit of her local knowledge. Going to the Nagasaki epicentre and museum was a really emotional experience and it ended beautifully with Akiko teaching us how to make origami cranes. Only 999 more to go 😊. An excellent day with two excellent women. Highly recommended.

My family and I had a wonderful experience in Nagasaki. Our guide, Akiko, was amazing, sweet, knowledgeable, and courteous. She was very flexible with the sites we wanted to see. I would totally recommend this tour.

Akiko was very nice and spoke english very well. We are a well traveled couple and we don't usually do tours like this but we thought "what the heck" let's try it!. Nagasaki has a lot of history and a lot of good food! With that said, we enjoyed Akiko's company but we feel like we could have done this tour on our own. We visited a temple and spent some time walking down the shopping street. I mentioned that if she knew of a place along the way where I could buy a souvenir ornament that would be cool. Akiko (bless her heart) made it a mission to help me find one and so we wasted time on that for a bit. The tour was good for us but it could be great for others. I'd give it a try if you've got time on your hands. We did not find an ornament during the tour but Akiko found a little one and delivered it to our hotel later that day. Isn't that cute?!

Our tour guide Masaaki was very accommodating in that he asked if we had any preferences. He suggested an itinerary that we were happy with. We went up the cable car to the highest view point in Nagasaki & he pointed out a lot of land marks & sights of interest. Also visited the Chinese & Japanese Buddhist temples & the Spectacles Bridge & told us a lot of information & stories. At end of trip took us to a large shopping mall. We got around all these places by hopping on buses. He spoke very good English & we understood him. Well done Masaaki!

Dear Masaaki San, the tour of Nagasaki with you was excellent. It covered all of the areas we came here to see and more. The Atomic Bomb Museum, Hypocentre Park, and the Peace Park were special and your explanations very valuable. The Ropeway to Mt Inasa was a bonus, particularly on such a beautiful day. Tomi was fantastic and showed us places that we would never have seen if we were by ourselves. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We would definitely recommend Tomomi for your guide!

Our tour guide, Masaaki, was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He spontaneously added some sights that we were interested in, such as the Peace Park and Museum. He gave us a tour of Mt. Inasa on a clear, sunny day when we could see for miles. He also gave comprehensive background on the temple visits, walk down the shopping arcade, and meganebashi. We learned lots of interesting history of Nagasaki and would highly recommend his service. We also learned how to take the bus and tram. This tour was a great value!

Because of our ship’s uncertain schedule, this company went the extra mile to help us make the tour on time. The guide met us at the ship terminal rather then a mid-city location which we could not have gotten to in time.
Our guide, Tomi, was solicitous of our welfare and very knowledgeable about the historic sites we visited. The pace was comfortable and included a nice mix of attractions such as the traditional, off the beaten path, shopping streets and residential neighborhoods as well as busy, picturesque boulevards.

This tour exceeded my expectations. It was carefully planned out by our knowledgeable guide Tomomi. She has help deepen my understanding of the history and culture of Nagasaki. The 400 plus years old Chinese and Zen temples are interesting, beautiful and well preserved.

Mac was an excellent guide. Warm, well-informed, & very good English. We were lucky to get a sunny day & Mac accommodated last minute requests to change our itinerary to take advantage of the great weather. Highly recommend going to the Observatory if you get a clear day. It will make you appreciate the beauty of Nagasaki. He was born 4 years after the atomic bomb was dropped & has lived & worked in Nagasaki most of his life. It was interesting to hear about both recent & more distant history of the city. A don't miss if you are in Nagasaki.

We are arriving on a cruise ship on Monday 23rd October 2023 at midday, and was wondering if we could do a walking tour. I may be able to get a few more couples as well.

Hi, Your tour looks very interesting. We arrive via Oceania Cruise ship, Nautica on April 10, 2020. Is there a way to meet us at port instead? Or how easy is it for us to get to Nagasaki station.
There will be 8 of us. We are in our 60's and walk pretty good, but would need to take breaks. Thank you.
