We had a fantastic 7 hour shore excursion with Hitomi during our cruise in July on Diamond Princess. Hitomi was very helpful and efficient with the communication beforehand and planned us an amazing day, the highlights being Sakurajima and Senganen Gardens. During the day, Hitomi looked after us so well, giving us interesting information and changing things around during the day to make sure that our whole group were happy and that we made the most of our stop in Kagoshima. We would not hesitate to recommend Hitomi to anyone!

We had an incredible full-day tour in Kagoshima with Hitomi! She was exceptionally professional and accommodating. Even though we got off the ship more than 30 minutes earlier than planned, she responded immediately and met us within 10 minutes of my text. She guided us through Kagoshima’s top attractions with so much insight and care, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
Hitomi also went above and beyond to help us make a reservation for an amazing black pork hot pot lunch that our whole family absolutely loved. Her attention to detail, flexibility, and warm personality made this one of the best tours we’ve ever had. I highly recommend booking with Hitomi if you’re visiting Kagoshima—you won’t regret it!

Ww had a great 6 hour tour with Hitomi, our guide for the day trip. The schedule was meticously planned and included all the interesting sights in Kagoshima. She even arranged us a delicious lunch at Kaduri restaurant.

Thank you for taking the time to write a nice review despite your busy schedule as you continue to travel around Japan. I shortened your stay at each spot to visit and have lunch, but thanks to your cooperation you returned to the ship on time. We had an amazing experience in Kagoshima. Hitomi created a fabulous tour for us! She not only had all of the most popular sites included as part of her itinerary, but she customized it to include everything else we wanted to see or do. From shopping to lunch reservations she arranged it all. Speaking of lunch Katomi took us to a traditional Tappanyaki restaurant for the finest in Waygu Beef, of which Kagoshima is known for. All-in-all she is a must have for the best tour of Kagoshima.

We had only a day to explore Kagoshima and it was one day very very well spent with Araki. We learnt a lot about Japanese history and heard some fascinating stories about the family who used to rule the area. Araki is very knowledgeable and personable, the tour was very relaxing and we managed to visit many major sites without feeling rushed for time despite having only a few hours. It was a pleasure seeing Kagoshima with Araki and I highly recommend Araki to anyone looking for a personalised tour of Kagoshima!

I was in Kagoshima for a short stay and I decided to book this tour as a way to see the main sights while there with someone who had a lot of local knowledge of the area. Hitomi did a great job in arranging everything including a driver and car to take us around. We saw the volcano of Sakurajima and did a tour around the island. We had a great lunch and then went to Sengan house which has played a role in the establishment of modern Japan through the people who lived there. If you want to get a good idea and flavour of Kagoshima in one day then I highly recommend booking this tour as it can also be tailored to your needs. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful tour and our guide Hitomi was full of information and we enjoyed learning about Kagashima. The lunch she booked was the best food we've ever had! Such a beautiful place. We were happy to see the volcano!

My wife and I consider ourselves fortunate to have been able to tour with such an excellent guide and interpreter. Even though we booked at the last minute, Hitome was incredibly organized and forthcoming with the arrangements and what the tour would entail. We stayed on schedule, yet she was sensitive to our needs and also for making accommodations for our physical abilities. Her narrative was interesting and we learned and experienced things about the Japanese culture and way of life that was amazingly insightful! I can hardly wait for my next trip to Kagoshima and would recommend Hitome to anyone without hesitation. Be sure to book her early, though, so you don’t miss out!
