This was a great tour with a friendly knowledgeable guide, comfortable minibus, a stop at a nature sanctuary half way to Philip Island, a guided drive around the island, stop for dinner (on your own) and then the penguin viewing which was quite the experience on its own.

Had a great time. Visited a sanctuary where we saw koalas & wallabies. Visited gorgeous coastal
area & after dinner went on to penguin parade. Josh, our guide and driver was on time, polite and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Our tour was awesome! Our guide, Josh, was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the areas we visited. Of course, the penguin parade was the highlight! Josh told us exactly where to stand for the best view. The penguins waddled directly beneath our area on the boardwalk!
FYI it was VERY windy so dress warm for the parade. Enjoy!

This was a good tour although long. Might of enjoyed just going to Phillips Island and spending more time there. Also, Viator did not give us the option of preferred viewing which would have been much nicer. The penguins themselves were great fun to see and hear.

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon and evening. Our guide Fred made our what would have been long ride super fun, entertaining, and informative. He not only had interesting stories but was very engaging as well. He knew the small ways to maximize our experience. Also, Moonlit Sanctuary and the Penguin experience were everything we hoped for. Close views of many animals and experiences we never would have gotten otherwise. The upgrade for Penguin Plus was well worth it.

Phillip Island was amazing. Kevin, our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and funny. Pointed out interesting things to look for on our journey. We stopped at various beaches on the way with the most gorgeous coastal views. The highlight was seeing the little penguins come out at dusk. A very memorable experience. I highly recommend

We did the half day penguin tour with Travis on our arrival day, last week. It was an amazing day in which Travis made sure that everyone had a wonderful experience. He was so well versed on every animal and how they would react at the sanctuary. We had a great time interacting with the animals. His tips for the penguin viewing were spot on and we got some great up close encounters. He even went so far as to drive us back to our hotel as he didn’t want us wandering around a strange city at midnight. What service! We could not have asked for anything more!

When planning our honeymoon I knew 2 things. My wife loved penguins, and she has always wanted to go to Australia. This trip allowed us to have the experience of a lifetime. The stop at moonlit sanctuary allowed us to feed kangaroos and wallabies and see more of Australia’s amazing wildlife such as a Tasmanian devil. We then stopped off at the Nobbies and saw some incredible coastline. Finally, we got to watch the penguin parade. Where we saw hundreds of little penguins waddle their way to their nests and gather amongst their friends.
Throughout all of this and the travel in between, we had the wonderful Fred, who is now a far away friend sharing his knowledge and passion for Melbourne, animals and life. He went above and beyond and was brilliant company.

(1) does we need to bring our own lunch and dinner?

Hi, is it guaranteed to get Penguins Plus ticket? or only general viewing admission?

We booked for the penguin plus pass with the tour. On the day we went, two others in the group had ordinary tickets and our guide upgraded them when we got there. My advice is book in advance. It's worth it

Hello - our trip included a stop at Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park. There you can feed animals, a very nice animal stop - some up close encounters. I would include this in your trip.
