My parents, in their 70s/80s stayed here after booking through Booking.com. The host was surprised to see them, even though they'd booked a day in advance. He apologised that he hadn't checked his emails and asked them to come back later when the room was ready. The room, according to my parents, was adequate, although "tea and coffee" facilities (advertised on Booking.com) was just a kettle and some tea bags in the room. The bed was too low to be comfortable for my mother. She had trouble getting in and out of bed, and didn't sleep well. The breakfast was a simple omelette and German rye bread which my parents enjoyed but it was not a Full English/Irish breakfast as advertised on Booking.com. Tea at breakfast was a cup of boiling water with a teabag to the side. The host was unable to second cup of coffee for my mother when she requested it. Overall, I am disappointed that the standard of comfort promised to my parents on Booking.com did not meet with the reality of this otherwise charming Bed and Breakfast.…
Clean and organically furnished. Owner is solicitous and well informed without being intrusive. Location is out in the country and the silence is amazing in our normal world of background noise. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent experience and unreservedly recommended.
Great little place on a working organic farm. Just one room availablema-- it was small but nicely furnished and clean. Fine for our needs. Room is attached to main house, but has a separate entrance. Owned by a couple from Germany, and their 4 cats and dog. Stephan and Gerlinde were very welcoming hosts. They took us around the property, including their goat stable; and we saw a newborn baby goat. They also shared their philosophy on living naturally & sustainably. A great experience!
