This guesthouse is a very cute, old-style place. It has a nice courtyard where tea is served all day long. The two girls who work there are very friendly and accommodating (though they don't speak English, so you might have a problem if you don't speakany Chinese). We did have a problem with the booking, but that was ctrip's fault, and the guesthouse did whatever they could to fix it. We visited during a hot few days, and the rooms don't have AC, fans, or large windows with screens. That made for some pretty hot nights, but most days Lijiang isn't too hot, so normally it probably wouldn't be a problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The place is a little more hostel-like than hotel-like, and it is on the southern end of the Old Town (so further from expat hangouts), but it was still an enjoyable and comfortable place.…
