Hi, thanks for the feedback. Your comments about the location, reasonable price and staff friendliness are very reassuring. Regarding your "not so good points", I feel it necessary to respond to some of the not-so-reassuring comments you have made. Firstly, I'd just like to point out that our room locks are code-operated mechanical locks. They are solid. Not flimsy. Secondly, I was alarmed to read that you returned home each day expecting your room to be robbed. No one should have to suffer that feeling of insecurity, especially when paying to relax there. However, our staff received no guest complaints related to room security, nor did I hear from any guest who had commented they were fearful of their safety due to a flimsy lock, or requested a room change or to cancel their reservation, all responses that I would have expected in such a situation. So I'm truly bemused by this review. Obviously all effort to assist you would have been made had we been informed at the time... Regarding the need for a lick of paint: Our walls and bedrooms are painted regularly by visiting international artists, and we do our best to keep everything tip-top. However natural wear-and-tear can occur at times and in the high-season when we are busier with guest bookings, we may be unable to close rooms to repaint certain areas so the odd imperfection may be visible. We will take action as soon as there is a window of opportunity to carry out any maintenance deemed necessary. We made a decision when opening ZOOROOMS not to provide TV's because we like the idea of a social environment where guests mingle in the terrace, kitchen and living room when not out and about exploring the city. We do NOT advertise that we have TVs in our rooms. We do, as advertised, have high-speed Fibre Optic WiFi, so our guests can watch a movie or TV show online or do some work if the mood takes them...
