The Grand Canyon wasn’t necessarily on my bucket list, but the experience will last a lifetime. All Star Grand Canyon tours rolled out the red carpet. They started by picking us up from our camp site about 30 minutes outside of the Canyon entrance. Giving us a thorough description of what the day would look like, then we were off.
Not once did I have to open or close a single door on our van. The sprinter van was my most comfortable ride of the trip. Large recliner seats, temperature control, head rests, the works. And the snacks, wow…I could have stayed on the vehicle all day eating in total bliss.
I rode with Jeff, who was a phenomenal tour guide. Thoughtful, down to earth and super intelligent. There wasn’t a single question he couldn’t answer and I asked a ton of all types. He was upfront about the natural wonders of the Canyon, its history, best spots to explore and how to remain safe on those more advanced trails.
The tour company brought food and prepared the highest quality meals possible for us. My coworkers and I “glamped” at a site not far from the Canyon. Still, that food wasn’t as fresh or high quality as the what the tour provided. All Star requested we hang by the gift shop while they set the table beforehand. When we arrived back everything was ready to go. Reusable dish-ware, napkins, table cloth, the works. They were super attentive to our needs as well as waste management. Making sure not a single piece of trash made its way into the Canyon, even on this super windy day.
After lunch, we went for a breathtaking hike on a secluded trail. Challenging, but doable. Serene and picturesque. The content we captured doesn’t do it justice, you have to be there to experience its magic, entirely.
Following the hike we hit another secluded view point around sunset, where we gazed into the distance while enjoying each others company and one heck of a charcuterie spread. 5 stars All Star Grand Canyon Tours. Kudos to Jeff. Still reminiscing from LA.
Check them out!
