I lived in one of the homes along this walk for about 18 months as I was house minding for family. My relatives lived here for nearly 40 years so I had visited over the years and I know that this area has been changing so much. It used to be more beautiful here. The couple who began the garden passed away and it was taken over by the council who have made it worse in my opinion. I am also concerned about the changing landscape and scenery due to new developments / revovating which was not allowed in the past. Living there was actually not as nice as you would expect since some awful people visit saying nasty things and also trespass, even enter homes if they can.

I suggest you take the ferry from Circular Quay to Mosman Wharf, then after the lookout on Cremorne Point return along the path on the western side of the peninsula, crisis over via a street to join the track back to Mosman Wharf. You’ll need a simple street map for this. Alternatively do it one way, with ferry access at both ‘ends’ There are no cafes or restaurants, except the newly refurbished Mosman Rowers Club which is already gaining a good reputation. Look up Sydney Harbour Walks for more details. Overall it’s one of the best Sydney Harbour walks.

Lovely walk with views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is an easy walk. There is a little outdoor gym area, which is fun. The track to the lighthouse was really busy, so I did not do it.

Sydney like most large cities around the world is losing its appeal with too many new apartment buildings, too many cars, too much noise etc. but the consolation is that there are little pockets of heaven.
This is one of the best parks / reserves and walks in the city; slightly isolated but still close to the CBD with only a 10 minute ferry ride needed.
The views are spectactular, the best of the harbour plus beautifully maintained gardens, both council owned and private.
Not to be missed if you enjoy quiet time in amongst beauty with a view.

What an excellent walk with lots of photo opportunities.
Slightly more challenging than I expected but it was a very hot day

This is a peaceful and tranquil walk to do prior sunset or at sunrise, enjoying the yachts on the harbour and perusing some beautiful homes. Drop in for a drink at the Mosman Rowers, lovely Sunday afternoon well spent.

Jump on a ferry and get off at Cremorne wharf. You can then follow the walk around to Mosman and have a coffee at either end or along the way the Mosman Rowers. At the other end, just grab another ferry. A great Sydney activity.

A walk that's deceptively secluded from the city but really runs along the shore and gives frequent stunning city and water views. A must do.

Thinking about doing this walk on Sunday, we probably have to leave for the airport around 1pm so this seemed like an easy way to fill the morning. My question is, how frequent are the ferries on a Sunday? Wouldn't like to risk getting stranded there and miss the flight home!!
Even as I type this I know my husband will say no!

We found the ferries very efficient, even on a Sunday. It's too good to miss!
